The Best Travel Movies and Shows to Inspire Your Wanderlust

These days we’re all spending a lot more time at home and we’re turning to TV, Netflix and Movies to entertain us. So I thought I would put together a list of the best travel movies and shows to watch right now. In this blog I’m sharing 47 travel movies and shows, so needless to say, I think this list will keep you busy for a while. Since we can’t travel and see the world, these international films will help transport you around the world all from the comfort of your couch!

Snacks for Movie Watching

Firstly, we all know that any watching sesh is best enjoyed with snacks and wine. Personally, I am obsessed with fresh stovetop popcorn made with coconut oil, butter and salt! It’s so easy, tasty and healthier than microwavable popcorn. Here is the recipe I use, if you want to give it a try. But I warn you, once you make this, you’ll never be able to go back to microwavable popcorn again.

Secondly, to help satisfy all your watching needs, I have broken down this list by genre, and at the end of each genre, I have shared Amber’s Pick, to share my personal recommendation and favourite flick on that particular list. Lastly, after each movie, I have put in brackets where the movie takes place, in case you are dreaming of a certain destination or want to see what it is like in a particular part of the world.
